What we keep, and why

Play Soccer Pool stores the minimum it needs to run a World Cup pool: your name, your email address, your picks, and the pools you belong to. That's the whole list.

Your email is used to log you in (magic links, verification, password resets) and for a small number of pool emails — a copy of your picks when your pool locks, and a nudge when the knockout bracket opens. There is no marketing list and your address is never shared or sold.

Your picks are private until they lock: other players can't see them before your pool's deadline (or each group's kickoff). After lock they're visible to your pool, which is the point of a pool.

We use self-hosted, cookie-free analytics (Umami) to count page views. Transactional email is delivered through Resend. The database and the app run on our own server in the EU.

Play Soccer Pool never handles money, so it never stores payment details.
